Vegetarian Tomato Sauce: Experience this delicious velvety tomato sauce that is easy to make, and offers fantastic healthy detox ingredients that boost energy and you will feel great.


14.5 Ounce can of Diced Tomatoes

1/3 Cup Freshly chopped Onion

1/3 Cup Diced Green Pepper

1 Tablespoon Freshly Minced Garlic

6 Slices of dried chopped Mangos

1 Teaspoon Tomato Paste

Ground Pepper to Taste

Fresh Basil Sprigs


First, in a small sauce pan, add 1 Cup of Chicken or Vegetable Stock and 6 slices of dried chopped Mango.

Second, prepare a sachet of Pickling Spice.

Making your sachet: You can purchase cheese cloth from your local grocery store or food specialty shop. Cut a piece of cheesecloth large enough to fit one Tablespoon of Pickling Spice. The sachet should be able to float freely as it’s tied to the handle. Place the dried Pickling Spice in the center of the cheesecloth. Gather up all four sides and twist tight to make a ball to form your sachet. Tie the ball together, making sure you don’t have any open gaps at the top where flakes can float out. Add the sachet to your sauce pan after pouring in your stock. Tie the end of the string to the handle and simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove the sachet pouch from the stock and add the tomatoes, onion, green pepper, garlic, tomato paste and black pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Fold in freshly chopped basil and serve. Total Cooking time: 30 minutes.
