Parsley Broth with Wild Mushrooms

Parsley Broth with Wild Mushrooms Detox Soup Recipe: This is a detoxification soup with powerful medicinal attributes. This soup is light and sophisticated, and accompanies a variety of vitamins and minerals that heal, boost energy and you feel great.


2 Pounds of freshly sliced Wild Mushrooms (any variety)

3 Quarts of Chicken, Vegetable stock or Bone Broth

6 Garlic Cloves chopped

1 Onion chopped

1 Cup Dried Parsley Flakes

1 Bunch of Fresh Parsley chopped

Sea Salt and Pepper to taste

In a large saute pan add 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil and heat on medium for approximately 2 minutes. Add Wild Mushrooms, chopped Onion, and chopped Garlic. Saute 6-8 minutes and set aside.

Making your sachet: You can purchase cheese cloth from your local grocery store or food specialty shop. Cut a piece of cheesecloth large enough to fit one cup of dried parsley. The sachet should be able to float freely as it’s tied to the handle. Place the dried parsley in the center of the cheesecloth. Gather up all four sides and twist tight to make a ball to form your sachet. Tie the ball together, making sure you don’t have any open gaps at the top where flakes can float out. Add the sachet to your cooking pot after pouring in your stock. Tie the end of the string to the handle.

On medium heat simmer the stock and sachet for one hour. Turn off heat and let the sachet steep for one hour in the stock. You want to have a robust flavor and smell of parsley in your stock. The stock should be dark in nature. Remove sachet from the pot and discard. Return pot to medium heat, add sauteed wild mushrooms, onion, garlic and chopped parsley. Cook for 15 minutes. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve. Enjoy This wonderful detox soup recipe!!!
